Spring

Moving to a smaller apartment can be challenging to one’s creativity if you have colors and themes that you would have spread between multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.
What I do now is have Seasons. Spring heralds in green and yellow and new life. This year I found a really nice vase at Crate and Barrel which complimented some other mustard  and green furnishings. It also brought out the gold/brown detail in the curtains which were on sale at World Market for a great price. I have a hard cover book of Goines posters but then found a soft cover one at discount price. I picked out some pictures to frame. . The 3 picture frames above the three drawer bureau were bought when there was a 60% off sale at Michaels and then I just placed a poster picture in – voila – a nice accent wall which stays throughout all seasons. The bathroom also has a mustard theme in Spring. The Goines poster in black and gold gives clean graphic lines. Towels in the storage tower are changed each season.
