at 2912

After three days of torrential rain and grey skies I had time to think of what I had missed through the past two summers. It was , among other things, the inability to travel and reconnect with friends and relatives. I had spent a few hours looking at B&B’s and vacation rentals while my husband was practicing on his guitar. The lines of a Beatle song stuck in my head “You don’t know how lucky you are boy” I know that was intended as a bit of irony but as I looked around our apartment I recognized a real truth – I realized how lucky I was. For the next couple of days I amused myself creating “at 2912”
