Fine nylon material for inner bag

Scraps of fabric for outer bag
2 pieces 7 x 4 inches aprox
Finished size 4 x 3 inches aprox
allowing for a 1 inch inner fold at top

In the above pictures you will see the steps to make the Lavender sachets. They are really self explanatory. In picture 4 you will see the small running stitches used to make the sachets and also the pseudo hem stitches to make the inner turn over. This is aprox. 1 inch with a quarter inch turn under. Clip the corners to make a neater finished sachet.

As you can see in some of my finished Lavender sachets you can make the front and back the same by folding your fabric over or if you have smaller scraps make the front and back different. I also made some little “pouches” with scraps of linen and also wool which would not have made a nice little bag since the material would have been too thick. Make your sachets whatever size you like and whatever material – be creative – but remember to stitch them with Love.
