All about the color

All about color. In 2012 when our son got married his bride decided on orange and navy as the main colors for their wedding. The groomsmen wore kilts in a navy and green tartan and bridesmaids were in navy. Picture 1 shows the favors for the shower with the color theme. I made heart shortbread and Melissa – the bride –  got special tea bags made. Navy ribbon, small confectionary bags and petals from flower sprays – all purchased at Michaels – completed the favors. Pictures 2-5 were The Kiwi Kitchen Tea with a navy theme. In New Zealand where my sister lives they have kitchen teas where you bring small things for the kitchen. All wore aprons – my sister in red! Bottles of blue sparkling water, blue napkins and plates. White flowers in vases trimmed with navy ribbon. Favors made by my sister – little bags of Scottish fudge in wedding favors bags with added pink hearts. Orange artificial hydrangea for a pop of color. Pictures 6&7 – flowers for the rehearsal dinner. Picture 8 order of service printed on cream resume paper accented with pearlized petals and self stick jewels. Picture 9 – table sittings – white foam core covered with white linen type material. Pictures 10 – 12 table names and menus. Menus trimmed with flower petals stuck on with dots and finished with navy jewels. All stationary designed on a Mac with pages application and printed at home or at Staples. Pictures 8 through 12 by wedding photographer.
